Tätigkeitsprofil:
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct desk research, compile and summarise scientific evidence, and support the preparation of presentations, briefing and related materials
- assist in the development of the scientific programme, including the prioritization of themes and methods, session planning, speaker identification
- support the abstract evaluation process for the Summit, including communication with the applicants
- conduct literature screening and analytical work to support the curation of an evidence bank
- support the preparation and dissemination of outreach materials for the broader WWCS initiative (website, social media, email distribution lists etc.)
Anforderungsprofil:
You are a Bachelor or Master student, enrolled at a German university, and ideally meet the following requirements:
- studies in the field of economics, social or political science, environmental science, geography, communications, journalism, international
relations, development studies or a related field - very strong reading, writing and oral skills in English
- good understanding of climate policy landscape and a willingness to learn
- experience in scientific and/or social media communication is desirable
- experience in curating visual presentation and communication materials is an advantage.
