At Chair CG3, we are performing research in applied geophysics and computational geoscience simulation, dedicated to addressing critical challenges in subsurface characterization and sustainable resource use. Our mission is to advance computational geoscience and technology through research and innovative education.

Ihr Profil

You have a completed university degree (master's or equivalent) and a PhD in a field related to geological modeling, such as geosciences, (geo-)physics, computer science, simulation sciences, or engineering. You bring strong programming skills — in particular Python — and ideally experience in university teaching. You work independently, have excellent teamwork and communication skills, and are confident expressing yourself in English. Knowledge of German is advantageous but not required. Experience in acquiring and managing third-party funded projects is a strong asset.
