The German Swiss International School (GSIS) in Hong Kong is one of the leading international schools in Hong Kong and, with its approximately 240 dedicated teachers and staff, offers around 1,300 students from different countries a high-quality and holistic education. HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER FOR FRENCH AND GERMAN (GERMAN INTERNATIONAL STREAM)
The successful candidate is a highly motivated teacher who is committed to ensuring that each child fully exploits his or her individual potential. The successful candidate is expected to be up-to-date with current teaching and learning practices in terms of internally differentiated learning, different assessment modalities and feedback opportunities. Dynamic, open-minded and enthusiastic, she provides each student with learning opportunities that meet the children's needs, abilities and developmental level by designing lessons in such a way that each student has the opportunity to successfully reach his/her full potential.
GSIS is committed to protecting and promoting the well-being of children and youth and expects all staff to share this commitment. To protect all students at GSIS, comprehensive background checks are conducted, including employment history and reference checks, criminal record checks, and child protection checks. The successful candidate will also be required to attend internal training on child protection and safety and sign a code of conduct.
